What I Believe... 

 

 

The Holy Scriptures

 

We believe in the infalliable, inerent words of God preserved in the King James Version. It is not just a translation, but the inspired word of God for english speaking people. We believe that the KJV is the accurate and authoritative word of God, therefore the supreme and final authority in all things. We reject the need for Greek or Hebrew as referance to interpret the KJV.

 

 

The Trinity

 

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They are co-equal in power and glory, and have the same attributes and perfections. They are only seperate in their functions.

 

 

Jesus Christ

 

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that He was supernaturally begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and is truly, totally God and truly, totally man. He is the only begotten Son of God and at the same time God the Son; therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ, sinless, omnipotent, omniscient, Saviour of sinners, King of kings, and Lord of lords.

 

 

The Holy Ghost

 

We believe that the Holy Ghost is omnipresent. It is the Holy Ghost or “Spirit” that indwells the body of a believer in Jesus Christ. Evidence of the Holy Spirit in a believer is an understanding of the truth of God’s word and a oneness of thought among saved individuals. We reject the Jewish sign gifts of speaking in tongues, prophesying, and healing for this time period. 

 

Salvation

 

We believe that the bible teaches that true biblical salvation consists of repentance, followed by an acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour by an act of FREE WILL. This type of salvation leads to a changed life. We believe that the Scriptures teach that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace and none of works or our own self righteousness.

 

 

Eternal Security

 

We believe each believer, at the time he puts his trust in Christ, is born into the family of God and does instantaneously become a son or daughter of the living God, thus is redeemed by the Lord's purchase price paid for us, is henceforth preserved in Christ and, therefore, is forever secure in Christ and can not lose your salvation.

 

 

The Church

 

We believe the purpose of “church” is for the assembling and fellowship of SAVED individuals with the intention of learning, worshiping, having mutual support and encouraging each other. The building is not holy and God is not confined to a certain location such as a building. God never intended it to be a place where saved and lost can come together in one place. Doing this will create a “church” that eventually becomes worldly. You then have people in these “churches”(buildings) who are NOT REALLY “IN” GOD’S CHURCH(the body of Christ). Many unsaved people claim that they are going to heaven, because they “go to church”. It is sad that the vast majority of Christians have departed from the New Testament “House church” and have built temples with their hands. We believe in male leadership in the church and home.

 

 

 

Dispensations

 

We believe that a proper understanding of the Bible requires rightly dividing the word. Nearly ALL false doctrine taught today, is a direct result of NOT “rightly dividing the word of truth”. The huge variety of “Christians” stem mainly from not understanding the different dispensations. We reject hyper dispensationalism.

 

 

Personal Seperation

 

We believe that Christians should be separated unto God and separated from the world and that all believers are called into a life of personal separation from all worldly and sinful practices.We believe a Christian should seek to live a life that is clean, holy and above reproach. He should exhibit both attitude and actions so as to be of good report. Practices which are questionable or which may cause another person to stumble or which may mar the testimony of Christ should be avoided altogether. Therefore personal standards of demeanor and deportment are expected.

 

 

World Evangelism

 

We believe that God wants us to take his gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ TO the world. We will NOT build a building to lure the unsaved to us, as this is NOT scriptural. ALL of our members are required to do something to get out the gospel. Whether it be street preaching, door to door visitation, passing out gospel tracts, online video ministry, discussion forums/chats, public profiles, and/or even preparing the information that we distribute, ALL members must help with some aspect of the ministry.

 

 

Heaven & Hell

 

We believe Heaven is a real place that is the eternal home of all who by faith claim the salvation of Christ. We believe Hell is a real place that is the eternal home of all who die without Christ as their Saviour. We believe in the literal, physical, bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the everlasting blessedness of the saved (Heaven) and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost (Hell).

 

 

Satan

 

We believe that Satan, or “the Devil” is a real being who can currently go before God in heaven. In the future tribulation period, he will be cast out of heaven. We do NOT believe that he is the ruler of Hell as the world tries to portray him! The bible says that Satan is the “god of this world” and that he appears as“an angel of light” and his ministers appear as “the ministers of righteousness.” The bible teaches that Satan or “Lucifer” lost his position of power in heaven because he tried to become like God. The bible says that the final destination for Satan will be the lake of fire.

 

 

Creation

 

We believe that God created everything in six days. We reject evolution, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.

 

 

Marriage

 

We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church. The husband is to be the leader of the home, and men are to be the leaders of the church. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God's gift of sex.

 

 

Abortion

 

We believe that human life begins at conception and the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control or the mental well-being of the mother are acceptable.

 

 

The Second Coming

 

We believe in "that blessed hope," the personal, literal and visible pretribulational, premillennial return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The rapture will be followed by a seven-year period of great tribulation on earth(Jacob's trouble). At the end of the Tribulation period, Christ will return to rule and reign on the earth for one thousand years.
